Mr. Dogfyre is the first half of the 22nd episode of the second season of Wild Grinders, and the second half of the 48th episode overall.

OverviewEdit

There's a new dog at the Lot named Trevor, who's a huge fan of the Backside Grinders and it's his dream to play drums with the band. Lil Rob gets the band together to play with Trevor, Meaty gets jealous, disguises himself and creates a persona he calls Dogfyre - an over-the-top rock-and-roll drummer - with the intention of getting Trevor kicked out of the band.

Major EventsEdit

TriviaEdit

OriginalEdit

  • Along with the previous episode, containing Fists of Justice: The Beginning and Lil Rob & the Beanstalk, Mr. Dogfyre and Blast from the Past is the second episode to have their airtime to be irregular (10:20).
    • Because the four segments were scheduled and released too early (September 3, 2014), Mr. Dogfyre and Blast from the Past have their official and scheduled encore.
  • Trevor's name was differently spelled as "Travis" in the Nicktoons Schedule page.
  • Mr. Dogfyre was accidentally paired with Fists of Justice: The Beginning, instead of Blast from the Past on the Nicktoons' NickSports page.
  • There are some differences in this episode:
    • Lil Rob and Emo Crys only play red, arrow-shaped guitars (possibly replicas of Jack Knife's electric guitar), instead of Lil Rob's vocals and Emo's cowbell. The cowbell was temporarily played by Meaty.
    • Goggles can be only seen by playing a blue guitar, instead of computer effects.

AllusionsEdit

  • The Gooey Bear Fro Yo Topping's final moments by flying with a floating umbrella is quite an allusion of Mary Poppins, before he dies.

Running GagsEdit

  • Trevor begins to drag his buttocks on the ground, when he gets too excited for the Backside Grinders. The final one is done by both Trevor and Meaty.
